Clash Verge Rev Windows Tutorial
A practical Windows setup guide for Clash Verge Rev, a modern Clash Meta GUI based on Tauri with built-in mihomo core, system proxy, TUN mode, profile management, rule editing, and WebDAV backup support.

Windows 10/11, x64 installer recommended for most users. Run installer as administrator if Windows blocks proxy/TUN permissions.

What You Need

Step-by-step Installation
1. تنزيل Clash Verge Rev
تنزيل the stable Windows installer. Stable releases are recommended for daily use because they are more reliable than rolling AutoBuild versions.

- Double-click the installer.
- Allow Windows security prompts if they appear.
- Open Clash Verge Rev from Start Menu or Desktop shortcut.
- If proxy or TUN does not work, right-click and choose Run as administrator.
3. Import Your Subscription
Open Profiles, click New or Import, paste your subscription URL, and save. Clash Verge Rev will fetch proxies, proxy groups, and rules automatically.
4. Choose Proxy Mode
Rule Mode
Recommended. Domestic/direct traffic stays direct while selected traffic uses proxy rules.
Global Mode
All traffic goes through selected proxy. Useful for testing but may slow local services.
Direct Mode
Proxy disabled. Use it to troubleshoot network or app issues.
5. Enable System Proxy or TUN
System Proxy is easiest for browsers and most apps. TUN mode creates a virtual network adapter and captures more traffic, including apps that ignore system proxy. If TUN fails, install required drivers and run as administrator.
6. Test Connection
Select a proxy node, open a browser, and test access. If pages fail to load, update the profile, switch nodes, check DNS, or temporarily disable antivirus/firewall filtering.
Common Windows Fixes
Installer blocked by SmartScreen
Click More info → Run anyway if you trust the source, or download again from the official GitHub release.
System proxy not working
Restart Clash Verge Rev as administrator and make sure System Proxy is enabled.
TUN mode fails
Install the required driver, allow network permission, and ensure no other VPN driver is conflicting.
Subscription update fails
Check the subscription URL, node provider status, and local firewall. Try updating again after switching network.
